I am starting to feel that self-employment is perhaps a fantasy that may not be too suitable for me. Then another random idea crossed my mind.
Could I possibly make a living from home tuition and incorporate some element of social work? I could dedicate two hours to teaching and another hour to play/art therapy. But would the parents buy the idea? What if I started out for free, or set terms that the parents can pay me whatever amount they felt comfortable to give at the end of the month, or end of the school term when the grades are out? What if I specialize to teaching only those living on the fringe, either because of financial limitations or learning disabilities?
